Why now?
In today's world, patrons are as likely to get up from the bar to go smoke a cigarette or make a cell phone call, as they are to use the restroom.
To date, non-smoking laws in bars and restaurants have affected over 75% of the United States, as well as most major cities and provinces in Europe, Asia, Canada, China, Japan, India, New Zealand and Australia.
At the same time, cell phone use continues to grow at an astounding rate with 1.5 billion subscribers reported worldwide in 2004 and 3 billion projected by 2009.
At bars and restaurants worldwide, it is a growing problem that when patrons return to the bar, their seats have been taken and/or their drinks have been prematurely thrown out by bus boys, who've assumed the unattended or napkin-covered drinks were abandoned.
Until now.
The patented design of The Seat Saver fits conveniently over any type of glass or bottle in the bar, clearly indicating to all other patrons that a seat/drink is still being used.
